Big Twin Generator
Engine Cases
For 30 years STD Development has been setting the standard for the world’s strongest, highest quality aftermarket Harley-Davidson engine cases for stock
replacement and high performance applications. STD offers a complete lineup of Generator Style High Performance Engine Cases Assemblies for all older Big Twin applications from 1941 to 1969 including Knucklehead, Panhead, and Shovelheads right up to current 1998 Evolution style cases. Also avaialble are high performance engine case allemblys for Sportster / Buell.

All STD case assemblies are line bored for accuracy, and most applications are upgraded with the latest Timken roller bearing in the LH case side and a needle cam bearing rather than the stock bushing. All STD cases are cast from aerospace quality 356 T6 “A” Prime alloy with a tensile strength of 45,880 psi, the highest rating of any aftermarket cases. STD cases are available unfinished, or complete and ready to run with studs and bearings as needed. A full line of cases are also available for later Shovelhead and Evolution Big Twin models, as well as Sportster/Buell.
