S.T.D. Development has been setting the standard for the world’s strongest aftermarket Harley-Davidson engine and transmission cases. Now STD takes their product line one step further for Big Twin race engine and custom builders with their new STD Complete High Performance 5-Speed Transmission Assembly.

Specifications include an Andrews 2.94:1 First Gear close ratio gearset housed in an STD case cast from aerospace quality 356 T6 “A” Prime alloy with a tensile strength of 45,880 psi, the highest rating of any aftermarket cases. Included is a heavy duty 32-tooth pulley and other necessary installation parts including Bel-Ray Transmission Fluid. Applications include Harley Softails 1990 to Present, FXRs 1989-1993, with special applications on request. Available in Natural Cast, Black Wrinkle, or Polished finish Cases with Chrome Cover.

All STD Transmission assemblies are load tested to assure proper operation. A full range of STD High Performance Transmission Cases are available for Harley Big Twin applications from early 1965 4-Speed applications to current Big Twin 5-speed Evo models. Also available for 4-speed transmissions is a STD Heavy Duty Transmission Cover for use on stock and STD transmission cases.
